Location and staff.

WIFI is our room was horrible. Front desk did give me a pocket WIFI which worked great. Bed creaks when you sleep.

Resort ski hotel, buffet for diner and breakfast really good, staff friendly.

Heater too hot , have to open the window during the night , bed not very confortable.No big deal

December was off peak period for the Japanese skiers thus the slope were not crowded.The ski slope design was great. The snow quality was as good as hokkaido. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Only 1 slope was opened for skiing over my 10 days stay.Food choices are considered limited when my stay is 10 days. It would be ok for short stayers.

Service staff were very helpful in sorting out room arrangements and additional assistance. Ski instructors were passionate and professional.

Resort is a little dated. A few slopes open early in the season. Captive dining options, so do book half board at the very least. Needs more laundry machines.

Convenient. Family oriented, good for kids. Friendly staff.

All the staff at the resort were so helpful, friendly and pleasant. The snowboarding experience was incredible not over crowded. The food at the resort was amazing.

The room was a little hot for us and we were unable to adjust the temperature but the room was upgraded and we could open the windows to let some cool in.

For a resort that bills itself as an Onsen (hot springs), it was odd that there was only one large soaking pool for men. I'm used to seeing three or more pools of graduated temperature. I know that it's primarily a ski resort, but they should be up front that the onsen experience is a distant second to ski facilities.Also, we can tell that the resort has recently gone bankrupt, and the new owners have implemented serious cost-cutting measures. I understand the need for cutting costs, but when it is obvious in the food and drink they serve, well, maybe they should focus their cost-cutting where it doesn't directly impact the guests.

Very helpful and polite staffs. Clean,quiet and spacious room. Good facilities in ski and onsen.

not my first time in Karuizawa, but my first time here at Palcall, friendly staff, FAST LIFT LINESwould reckon for any beginner to advanced levels!

great location, quite, true ski-in/out massive snow! accommodating staff, clean and onsen has a nice traditional japanese vibes to it

it is a very good destination. Among the best in Karuizawa. lifts are fast and have good ski-in/out accessenjoyed the gondola and the food there is amazing!

maybe longer lift operation time but hopefully after the pandemic i could come back again for more laps

The location is great surrounded by beautiful mountains easy access with the free shuttle service! The staff was nice and accommodating. And the room is BIGger than other resorts you usually find in Japan. I really enjoy the sunrise gondola/sunrise skiing the view is amazing definitely worth waking up for!

The snow condition is AMAZING!!!!! And it’s not even at the peak of the season! perfect for snowboarding. Short shinkansen ride from Tokyo and they have a free shuttle bus so that’s really helpful.The Check-in process is quick and hygienic.

The most spacious room I have been in Japan. Clean and comfy. Recommended
